How much does a network point cost?
It depends on the cable category, the cable routes, the type of building and the working hours. Tell us about your project in the form and we will prepare your proposal; a fixed price follows the free site survey.
Do you work outside Buenos Aires City?
Yes, throughout Greater Buenos Aires. For projects elsewhere in Argentina, contact us about a site survey.
Decisiones técnicas
Cat6 or Cat6A?
Cat6 is suitable for most small offices. Cat6A supports 10 Gb/s over 100 metres and is the choice if you plan to grow, use the latest WiFi technology or stay in the space for many years.
When should I use fibre optics?
To connect racks, floors or buildings, for distances over 90 metres, and where there is electrical interference. Medium-sized businesses typically use copper to the workstations and fibre for the backbone.
What does certification include?
We test every copper and fibre link against the standard and deliver the full report, together with as-built drawings and the patching schedule.

Can you work at night or on weekends?
Yes. For occupied offices, we recommend it: we work in sections and leave everything clean and operational before opening time.
Do you provide ongoing maintenance?
Yes. Merlintech is an IT support company: we can maintain, monitor and expand the network we install, with a monthly service agreement and agreed response times.
